Introducing Petra Ehmann
Petra got awarded as a Top 100 Digital Shaper of Switzerland by Bilanz magazine in 2018. She heads up global business development for augmented reality at Google where she brings together diverse perspectives to a shared vision: she builds bridges. As a Googler, she builds bridges between external partners and Google internal engineers and product managers. For Augmented Reality, she builds bridges between the digital and the real world, ultimately leading to a new digital interface. As a board member at we shape tech, she builds bridges between men and women, majorities and minorities, the old and the young to foster a more diverse tech environment. And in her free time, she builds bridges between different cultures having lived and worked on four continents (Bolivia, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, China, the US and Switzerland). Petra is a doer and a well-sought professional. She likes to shape the future of tech and advises start-ups and young professionals on their growth journeys and careers respectively. She is also a Stanford Alumnae (MSc) and an ETH Alumnae (BSc).
